Pallet furniture cushions: the sizes that fit a Euro pallet, fillings and fabric
A Euro pallet is 120×80 cm. Everything about pallet cushions follows from that.

Half-pallets (80×60) are common for armchairs and corners. Measure yours; "Euro pallet" is not always exact and reclaimed pallets vary.
Fabric: the splinter problem
Pallet wood is rough and the cushion is dragged across it every time someone sits down. A thin printed polyester cover snags and pills in a month. Sunbrella® is a dense woven acrylic that resists abrasion well; it is used on boat seats for the same reason. Sand the pallet top and the cushion lasts longer still. Filling: why it must drain
A pallet seat is a 120×80 flat surface outdoors. It will be rained on. Standard foam at that size holds litres of water and takes a week to dry, which is why so many pallet sofas smell by August. Reticulated quick-dry foam drains through the gaps in the pallet below it. Explained in foam vs hollow fibre.

Keeping the back cushion up
A back cushion on a pallet sofa has nothing to lean on unless there is an upright pallet behind it. Ties through the slats, or a flap that goes down between seat and back pallet, hold it in place. Say which when you order.
